Returns policy
At the moment of booking, you will be asked to pay 50% of the total amount of your stay. Any cancellation of booking made up to 30 days before the expected day of arrival will be refunded. If the cancellation is made after this date or if the guest does not show up on the scheduled check-in day, Quinta da Cancela will not refund the 50% of the total amount of the stay paid as a deposit.
Quinta da Cancela reserves the right to request the payment of the remaining 50% in the 30 days immediately prior to the check in date.
Returns Policy - Shop
Quinta da Cancela recognises all its customers the right to terminate contracts entered into with it, allowing them to return, within a period of 14 (fourteen) days, any products purchased under the terms of the Portuguese legal system for distance contracts and contracts outside the commercial establishment (Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, amended by Law No. 47/2014 of 28 July and Decree-Law No. 78/2018 of 15 October).
We are committed to supplying high quality wines and products and your total satisfaction is our goal. The entire process, from the production of the wines and other products, to their respective distribution, is controlled in detail, ensuring that all our products are presented and consumed in excellent conditions.
Conditions:
In order to exercise their right of free termination, the customer must notify Quinta da Cancela of their decision to terminate the contract, by sending the model "Free termination" contained in part B of the annex to Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, as amended by the aforementioned laws, or through any other unequivocal statement of termination of the contract, sent with proof of receipt, to the email address [email protected], indicating the number of the order or the document that accompanied it.
If the contract is terminated, the customer is obliged to return the products, in perfect condition and accompanied by the invoice, no later than 14 days from the day on which he informed Quinta da Cancela of the free termination of the contract, bearing all the costs of return.
In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the customer will be refunded all payments made, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the possible choice of a method of shipping other than the least expensive method of normal shipping offered by Quinta da Cancela ), no later than 14 days from the date of receipt by Quinta da Cancela of the communication of withdrawal, and the refund may be withheld while the products are not received or while the customer does not provide proof of return of the products.
Products can only be returned and, therefore, the customer will only be refunded the payments he has made if the products are returned by the customer in good condition and with original packaging complete and unopened, as well as any accessories or promotional offers that have been sent together with the products.
Defective products and mistaken shipments may be returned, and Quinta da Cancela will be responsible for the shipping and collection costs if the client informs us of this circumstance within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the product and if these circumstances are confirmed by the Quinta da Cancela team.
Quinta da Cancela will not accept the return of products after they have been used or opened, or in the event that they have been altered or modified, as well as in the other applicable situations provided for in Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, in the current wording resulting from the aforementioned diplomas.
Quinta da Cancela is not responsible for deficiencies arising from incorrect use, negligence, bad storage conditions or causes of force majeure.
